Refund policy

Last updated 3 November 2026.
Draft. This document hasn't been reviewed by a solicitor yet and the company details are still to be added. It will be finalised before LC9 Defence is publicly released.

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can usually cancel a digital service within 14 days of buying it. When you start Premium, we ask you to agree that the service starts straight away. If you then cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we refund you, minus a proportionate amount for the days you've already had Premium.

Annual plans

If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of a renewal payment, we refund that renewal in full.

Faulty service

If LC9 Premium doesn't work as described and we can't fix it, you're entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Other cases

Outside these cases, cancelling stops future payments but doesn't refund the current period, which you keep until it ends.

How refunds are paid

To the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days of us agreeing the refund.
