Security that ordinary people can afford

LC9 Defence exists to make good malware protection simple and affordable for everyday Windows users: families, students, professionals and anyone with a home computer.

What we believe

• Free should mean free. LC9 Free finds and removes malware. We never hold removal hostage.
• Plain English. You should always know whether your PC is safe and what, if anything, to do.
• Honesty over hype. No antivirus catches everything. We don't claim to, and we only advertise what's built.
• Your files are yours. Scanning happens on your computer. We don't upload your documents.
• Fair prices. Premium costs less than a takeaway a month, and cancelling is easy.

Where we are

LC9 Defence is new. LC9 Free's scanner, detection and quarantine are built and tested. Premium's real-time protection is in development. We'll publish independent test results when we have them, never before.
